Athenea Defender is a lightweight Windows security application that allows users to monitor running processes and active network connections/IPs, enhanced with an interactive mascot that visually reflects the system’s current state.

Designed as an experimental and educational project, Athenea does not modify system files or perform intrusive actions. All monitoring is done locally, with full transparency.

Athenea is a visual assistant that:

• Falls asleep when the network is disconnected

More intelligent behaviors are planned for future versions 👀

🧩 Project Status

Athenea Defender is not a traditional antivirus.

Currently:

• ❌ Does not remove malware

• ❌ Does not block processes

• ❌ Does not take automatic actions on the system

It is a solid foundation for a more advanced defense system in future releases.

📦 Installation

1. Download the .zip file

2. Run Athenea Defender

3. Click Analyze to view processes and IPs

No additional installation required.
